Madonna gets slap on wrist from Spanish superstar Soraya Arnelas

Apparently Madonna's safety precautions in Ibiza were "over the top" causing the upset.

Reportedly the Material Girl was to celebrate her birthday with a tour in Ibiza in the Balearic Islands of Spain.  In anticipation of her arrival, her "people" visited the exclusive hotel where Madonna was to stay to check thoroughly for any possible secret recording equipment in any of the bedrooms.

However, they went a little too far, and also checked rooms which were occupied by Soraya Arnelas and her entourage, who were thoroughly offended by the intrusion.

Arnelas complained strongly about the treatment her entourage had received, telling the media:

"Madonna is always surrounded by about nine bodyguards, and before she arrived I heard from my friends that their rooms had to be searched for recording equipment and anything that security considered to be dangerous," said Soraya, 31, "Which is a bit over the top."

Apparently Madonna's security entourage had no comment about the incident.

Former tennis ace Boris Becker loses villa in Mallorca, Spain

German former tennis ace and six-time Grand Slam champion, Boris Becker, has apparently just lost out on his luxury holiday villa on the island of Mallorca in the Spanish Balearic Islands.

Becker had apparently neglected to pay a construction bill of €391,000 ($544,000) and the Spanish authorities confiscated the home.

According to a judge in Palma, the nine-bedroom property will now be auctioned off for a tidy €7 million ($9,750,993). The construction bill in question was apparently for carpentry and plumbing work, as well as for resurfacing a basketball court at the villa.

Becker’s lawyer is trying to claim that the bills were the responsibility of the real estate agent who sold him the villa, but the judge is having none of that. Reportedly Becker, 46, bought the villa 17 years ago.

Becker almost lost the villa over a similar case back in 2012, where around €276,162 ($384,780) was owed to a local gardening and landscaping company. In that case, Becker managed to scrape together the amount owing and keep the home.

Apparently back in 2007, Becker tried to sell the house for €15 million ($21 million) but didn't manage to find a buyer.

Reportedly Becker's economic problems arose due to a €24 million ($33 million) divorce case.

With the latest case, should he wish to keep the villa, he would also be required to cough up an additional €24,000 ($33,441) in court fees and interest.

Brit dies from fall from 10th floor in Mallorca, Spain

According to local media, police in Mallorca are investigating the death of a 35-year-old British man who died after falling from the tenth floor of a building in the popular resort area of Magalluf on Tuesday.

The local newspaper, Diario de Mallorca reported that initially police thought the man had been murdered.

The man died after falling ten stories and landing on a car, parked in front of 5 Magalluf Avenue.  A local, out walking his dog, found the man's body at six o'clock on Tuesday morning.

The man, so far identified only by the initials D.L.K. was found wearing only a swimming costume and flip flops.

Further investigations on the scene revealed no signs of violence, and his injuries were consistent with his fall, according to police, who are now trying to determine if the man's death was a suicide or accident.

According to sources at the British Embassy in Madrid, they are aware of the death of a British citizen in Magalluf and consular services in Mallorca are providing support to the family of the man.

Ibiza firemen free German tourist from the clutches of a stainless-steel sex toy

A German tourist got into trouble when using a steel sex toy and he went to the hospital. It took Ibiza firemen two hours to cut through the metal ring, into which the man had placed his ... er ... equipment.

The firemen were called out at 10 pm on Wednesday after the medics at Ibiza's Can Misses hospital in Spain's Balearic Islands found they just didn't have the right tools to do the job.

The delicate operation was undertaken in the casualty ward of the hospital in Ibiza, with firemen using buzz-saws to free the tourist from the steel sex toy, into which the man had placed his penis and testicles.

The firemen reportedly needed two changes of battery, along with a second rotating blade for their buzz saw in order to complete the operation.

Apparently the two-hour operation was "very complex", because the man became "more swollen" as time went by.

The sex toy was described as measuring 15cm in diameter and consisted of some kind of "armor-plating."

It is not known how the man, a 51-yr-old German, got to the hospital, but apparently he complained a lot during the delicate operation, and it was necessary to administer a local anesthetic.

Apparently after an overnight stay in the Urology department, the man felt fine and was discharged late on Thursday morning.  Hopefully he won't do that again...
